I mean if you are able to create necrofire by combining spells under you enemy they are basically ♥♥♥♥♥♥ because of the insane damage. They do have a lot of magic armor but that is to counter the fact that most magic spells is able to leave some kind of debuff on the enemy. Also magic tends to have more AOE and DOT than physical have. This combined with a support who is able to buff the spellcaster to have even more AP is a good thing.
